Welcome! My name is Carolina, and I’m originally from Argentina with Italian roots. I’ve been living in Denmark since early 2016. I came here as a tourist and fell in love with this beautiful country, its colorful houses, and its fascinating Viking history. My background is in graphic design, but I’ve always loved architecture thanks to my father, who is an architect. Since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed learning about the details and stories behind buildings. Now I’m married to a Dane and have two young children, which has immersed me deeply in Danish culture. I love sharing the fascinating anecdotes, traditions, and experiences I’ve discovered along the way. I’m particularly passionate about the history of Danish kings and queens, the stories of Viking ships, and the rich traditions of this ancient kingdom. Denmark is full of unique details that I can’t wait to share with you. One of my favorite things when traveling is trying local food. I enjoy recommending Danish ingredients and dishes that are worth tasting again and again. If you would like to customize a tour, let me know, and I will be happy to create an experience tailored to your interests! Would you like to discover Denmark with me? Write to me, and let’s explore together!

I’ve designed this tour because these palaces are two of my favorite places in Copenhagen, filled with architecture, interiors, and objects that tell unique stories. Every room, object, and decoration hides a story—from jewelry created using remnants of wartime events to luxurious banquet tables crafted from stair railings rescued from burning palaces. Nothing here is random; everything carries meaning. The Danish monarchy is one of the oldest in the world, and these palaces are full of symbolism, fascinating stories, and yes… a bit of historical gossip too. This tour is perfect for anyone who loves interior design, architecture, history, art, and the stories hidden behind beautiful details. Tickets are not included due to seasonal price variations, keeping the tour price fair and flexible. After booking, I’m happy to guide you through the ticket purchase, or we can customize the tour to include tickets if you prefer.
This tour allows us to explore the interiors of both palaces. - Rosenborg Palace interiors - View of King’s Garden and the Royal Guard Headquarters (with a bit of luck, we may see the Royal Guards on their way to the Changing of the Guard) - The Treasury, where the Danish Crown Jewels are exhibited - Approximately a 20-minute walk from Rosenborg to Christiansborg (Taxi option available if needed – cost not included) - Royal Reception Rooms at Christiansborg Palace - Coronation Room and the Balcony of Proclamation - Parts of the Royal Book Collection - Royal porcelain cabinets - Banquet halls and grand ballrooms The focus of the tour is storytelling through spaces, objects, and details—bringing history to life through what we see around us. The itinerary can be adapted in advance if you’d like to spend more time in one of the palaces.

Our tour will be entirely on foot. Please note that some areas of the city are cobblestone, which may make walking a bit more challenging compared to smooth sidewalks.
