I am Michael, 66 years old native born Copenhagener. Throughout my life, and especially since I started as a taxi driver some 36 years ago, I have always loved Copenhagen and the special vibe the city has to it. I often make good use of the many cultural venues Copenhagen has to offer, and quite often enjoy the amazing food scene in Copenhagen being it for a good cold cocktail or a nice evening dining with the love of my life. I am trained and certified as a Sightseeing driver. The combination of being a Taxi driver and tour guide gives me the big advantage to use all my skills and knowledge of every little corner and nook in Copenhagen to give exceptional sightseeing tours. Through my involvement with ToursByLocals I have found the perfect balance between easy standard bookings with all the ease and security that ToursByLocals offers, but also the possibility of making and adapting my tours to give all my guests a unique top of the line experience in Copenhagen. My car is a fully electric Mercedes e-Vito, fully airconditioned off course and with room for up to 8 persons - I do not recommend more than 7 though since comfort in second front seat suffers a bit. I am not arrange any bus tour for big groups over 8 passengers. I am trained in adding disabled people, though I can only do tours with guests that can get in and out of the car by own force, assisted if needed and only using foldable wheelchair, and I can carry a serious amount of luggage so I can also offer to combine sightseeing and Airport/cruise boat transfer. We start by heading north to the castles and along the way I narate over the history of Denmark and the background of the castles, and what we are going to see today. Northern Zeeland has always been a cornerstone in danish history an almost all of our kings and queens since 14th hundred have lives in castles in the area. Today the area is known as "uptown" Copenhagen which shows from all the amazing houses, farms and castles in the area. Main focus for the tour is the famous UNESCO heritage site Kronborg Castle, better know for being the backdrop for Sheakspeares Hamlet. We visit the Fredericksborg Castle, originally founded around 1200 … rebuild and finished by king Christian IV around 1600 as one of the biggest still existing Dutch renaissance Castles in Europe. Tour is easy adaptable as we also pass small rural towns, Louisiana art museum, Technical museum and the Maritime museum next to Kronborg. Tour is well pecan and balanced and we do have time for a lunch break
Michael was prepared, flexible and informative. We had a very interesting day including visiting. Elsinore, Louisiana museum of Art and Karen Bluxen's house. We also drove through various neighborhoods in and around Copenhagen getting acquainted with the city and Denmark. We enjoyed the day very much.

During this trip we will visit (1). * Kronborg Castle - Unesco Heritage Site - mainly own exploration. * Fredensborg Castle - Drive by and stop for photos * Frederiksborg Castle, including a guided tour of the castle's highlights We also drive past other top attractions such as (2): Louisiana Art museum - Humlebæk, Maritime Museum - Helsinore, And we have a chance to visit places like (3): Saint Mary Carmelite Convent - Helsinore, Karen Blixen (Out of Africa) museum - Rungsted, Horsholm Mill and Crafts Museum - Horsholm We always visit the sights mentioned under (1). . . we can replace or add one of the items from (2) and we can, as time permits, fill in with items from (3) . . . Choices from the "menu" will be made during the tour on the day.

You drive in an electric minivan with room for 8 passengers. There is air conditioning and room for a lot of luggage if it is to be combined with transport to the ship or airport.
