I am a Professional Chauffeur Guide with a three decades long experience with hospitality and passenger transportation. I have worked in 4 & 5 star hotels, and as a professional chauffeur both in Copenhagen and New York City. As a former resident of New York, having travelled to 35 U. S. states, and with relatives spread out all across America, I have a special fondness for welcoming North American travellers with open arms, and showing them what the Danish concept of "Hygge" is all about. I am passionate about showing every visitor around my beloved home city of Copenhagen, and indeed all of my beautiful native Denmark. I am very easy going, always happy, upbeat, inspired, and inspirational. I am the son of artists, and love the arts, design, and architecture. As a pioneer in the field of sustainable travel and transportation, I am all about sustainability, and will drive you around in an all-electric, luxurious zero emissions Mercedes or Tesla van, sedan, or SUV. I cannot wait to welcome you, and show you my beautiful city and country! Velkommen til Danmark! I am a Professional Chauffeur Guide, licensed to transport paying passengers, with a thirty-five year long experience with hospitality and passenger transportation. I worked in 4 & 5 star hotels (St. Regis, and the former Swissotel The Drake, both in Manhattan, and Radisson Scandinavia Hotel in Copenhagen) and as a professional chauffeur, both in Copenhagen and New York City. As a former resident of New York through 10 years, having travelled to 35 U. S. states, and with relatives spread out all across America, I have a special fondness for welcoming North American travellers with open arms, and my English language skills are fluent. As a pioneer in the field of sustainable travel and transportation, I am all about sustainability, and will drive you around in an all-electric, luxurious zero emissions Mercedes van, sedan, or SUV. I also authored a fact-based novel about the hunt for Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda, inspired by my own experiences in Manhattan on 9/11. As I am not a licensed guide, I will not be able to guide you inside museums. I can however accompany and assist you without a problem.

Come on a tour of original viking ships, castles, and contemporary art at perhaps the world's most beautiful museum. You'll enjoy a pleasant drive along the gorgeous coastline stretching north from Copenhagen, picturesque landscapes like Dyrehaven, visits to Roskilde Cathedral (final resting place for most Danish kings & queens) the Viking Ship Museum (with the chance to sail a viking ship yourself) Frederiksborg & Fredensborg Castles, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, and finally the chance to experience the royal lifestyle of past times at Kronborg, also known as Hamlet's Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While this tour can be customized, please confer with me about opening hours of the castles & museum, on the specific day in question you'll be visiting. This is an 10 hour version of the 8 hour Northern Zealand tour, with the addition of Roskilde Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum, with plenty of time for visits, stops, and meals. This can be customized completely to your needs.
North of Copenhagen, we'll pass the royal hungting grounds of Dyrehaven, along the picturesque coastline of Oresund, before heading inland for our first stop at Roskilde Cathedral. At the nearby Viking Ship Museum you will learn about the history of our ancestors, view original viking ships, and even have the chance to sail onboard a replica. After a 45 minute drive, we'll reach Frederiksborg Castle's spectacular gardens & museum. Afterwards, we'll pass through more picturesque landscapes, before reaching the royal summer residence of Fredensborg. Then we return to the coast and location of the fabled Kronborg Castle. Originally built as a fortress, parts of which date back over 500 years, it's where Shakespeare set his play Hamlet. A visit to the royal living quarters, and especially the dungeons, is a must! Our final visit will be to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (featured in "1000 Places to See Before You Die"). Don't miss the sculpture garden overlooking the sea! We end back in Copenhagen.
