Many years ago I came to Denmark from England because I was curious to find out why Danes were "The Happiest Nation on Earth". I am delighted to say that I found out and am willing to share this with you! Having fallen in love with Copenhagen, Denmark (and a Dane) I became fascinated by Danish history and culture; a passion which led me to become educated as a tour guide. With a background in the music business in London and later as a psychotherapist I am well qualified to listening and my guiding is always based around the interests and requirements of my guests. I am not an academic, there are other guides who are; if you want a tour filled with detail of Kings and dates then look elsewhere because what I offer is a viewpoint of Denmark and Copenhagen seen from the eye of a very interested Englishman. That said every day I continue to study the story of the Land of the Vikings. My favourite past-time is wandering the streets of Copenhagen looking for unusual routes and sights to show my guests. The buildings may be beautiful but they come alive with a story. Above all my aim is for you (and I) to have a entertaining and fun day whilst I share my love and knowledge of my wonderful adopted homeland. Authorised Danish Tour Guide. Educated at Roskilde University Most of my tours are on foot or bicycle.. Some of the cruise ship harbour out of the city and require transportation

There are other things to chat about as we walk and I will introduce you to what Bernie Sanders calls "the Danish Model" (thinking of which we see where The Danish Girl was filmed!). I love to shop (much to the chagrin of my wife!), Copenhagen has the best and most varied shops in Scandinavia- if shopping is your passion, I can help. We will have time to stop for a coffee and a Danish pastry which is an essential experience when visiting Denmark. This is not a forced march, it is a pleasant stroll seeing the best of Copenhagen accompanied by a guide who loves and knows his city.
