Greetings. Welcome to Copenhagen! I am a retired American diplomat with over 40 years of "traveling the world" experience. I have been based mostly in Denmark since 2011, where I live happily with my young Danish children. I am an expert on Copenhagen and its surroundings, having literally biked to every nook and cranny of the area, and throughout Denmark. As a career public affairs officer, I have organized tours and official programs for countless American delegations in countless countries. I am now overjoyed to be organizing private tours for private citizens to enjoy this wonderful region. Extra stops can be added, hours can be adjusted. Biking and bike/train/personal vehicle options to the castles, Viking museums and museums outside greater Copenhagen are all possible. Copenhagen grew from a Viking village founded in the 10th century to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe that combines the classic and historical with the modern. It is an ever evolving wonder. My goal is to combine the "must sees" - the Round Tower, the Little Mermaid, Rosenborg Castle with your particular interests - modern architecture, stunning parks, history. Or you can leave it to me. I have a bevy of highlights and favorites. I am a retired American public affairs diplomat with years of experience organizing tours and visits for American officials, both government and non government, with the past 14 years focused on Denmark. I will show you a good time, for sure!
