Overview of your Rio De Janeiro tour
We will go directly to the Chinese view, driving up the forest, to visit this iconic sight of the city. The Chinese view is a Pagoda monumento, built to honor the Chinese immigrants that came to Rio around 200 years ago. After this we will stop at the emperor's table, a picnic área, where the king Peter II, used to wonder the wonderful view of Rio and have some snacks. Later we are heading to the Taunay waterfall, a natural waterfall of the Tijuca river in the middle of the forest. Done with the Forest we will go to the famous Botanical Gardens, built in 1808, by the Portuguese king John 6. Amazing species of plants and trees from all over the world and specially the collection of bromels and a fabulous orchidery. I became a tour guide because I love to show and introduce my home town to travellers and tell them the history of my city and my favorite part of tours, of course, is when I find people very interested about our history.
