Hi and welcome! My name is Alan, I am 44 years old, was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Having been to 35 countries on all the continents of the world, I have had the opportunity to be in touch with different cultures and languages - and this grew my desire to show my city, Rio de Janeiro, to tourists. I am a licensed tour guide in Rio by EMBRATUR, the Brazilian Institute of Tourism, and have been a private guide in Rio de Janeiro since 2013, having carried out hundreds of private tours of Rio, and have become more and more in love with my city and with my job as a Rio Tour Guide. I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and have a BA in Social Communication. When I'm not guiding, I enjoy writing, reading, spirituality, hiking and studying languages (I also speak intermediate French). We will cover the main attractions of Rio, like Christ Redeemer, Sugar Loaf, Chinese View, Tijuca Forest, Botanic Garden, Santa Teresa, Selaron steps, Metropolitan Cathedral. And we are also gonna do a tour to the most beautiful beaches of Rio: Prainha, Grumari, and much more! This multi-day tours package can be customized to your needs. Your Rio De Janeiro tour itinerary
- Day 1: Christ (by Paineiras station), Santa Teresa, Cathedral, Selaron, Lunch Stop, Sugarloaf. Duration: 9 hours (starts at 6:30am). - Day 2: Lage Park, Botanical Garden, Chinese View (closed on weekends/holidays), Taunay waterfall. Duration: 6 hours (starts at 7:30am). - Day 3: Joatinga, Barra Beach, Roncador viewpoint, Prainha Beach, Grumari Beach, Lunch Stop, "Pantanal Carioca" Boat Tour. Duration: 8 hours (starts at 7:30am). ATTENTION: *Electric Escalator of Christ not operating Please be advised that the electric escalator (taken already inside the complex, right after the elevator) is not in operation due to renovation. So, the access from the elevator to the monument will only be possible via 90 steps up. If you think that's gonna be too hard for you, we recommend skipping this attraction. *Last-minute requests run the risk of not securing tickets for Christ, and we cannot be held responsible for this. Please also be aware that, due to this renovation, visitor capacity has been reduced by 50%.

For more bigger groups, I rent a van with a driver (at an extra cost), so that the tour is extremely comfortable for everyone.
