Overview of your Rio De Janeiro tour

Petrópolis is a very nice city, located in the mountains, around 50 miles away from Rio. The city has a very strong german influence, since it was planned by Julio Koler, german living in Brazil. It was the summer residence of the royal family, since the weather is cooler there. We will visit the Imperial Palalce, home of the royal family, and a museum now a days. We will also visit the Quitandinha, which was once a Casino. The Cathedral, which took more then 100 years to be finished, and the Cristal Palace, a green house that was a gift to the Princess, are also on our list. Full of history and curiosities, it´s a must see in Rio !!!
