We will drive until the stop of Largo das Neves, then we will stop for snacks and drinks in the Armazén San Thiago, a bar, which exists since 1899; first as a food store. Walking until Curvelo, we will see a beautiful view of Guanabara Bay. After visiting the Museum Chácara do Céu (optional), we will return on foot and pass by the Selaron stairways. This artist has painted and decorated the stairways with bricks (tiles) coming from all over the world. For sure you will find some of your home countries! The artistic neighborhood is famous and very popular among the artists and visitors. The evening tourists and locals are going to meet the bohemia, maybe some live music, get to know the snacks and drinks, and meet some intellectual personalities and artists. Normally the culture centers are not open, only if is an event going on. NOTE: For groups 5 to 13 passengers please ask for more information, we can take a van. Santa Teresa is a historical neighborhood in Rio.
Simone made the tour possible despite very last minute booking and spontaneously adjusted the places to see while we were discussing our preferences in the cab. So we got to see some quite different faces from Rio while discussing culture, habits and differences to Europe. Very instructive and pleasant experience with Simone!

We will visit the neighborhood passing by a culture center with a museum surrounded by a beautiful park and an amazing view from Santa Teresa. A snack break will be done between one and the other place. On the way back we walk down the Selaron stairway. . Curvelo . Armazen San Tiago . Largo das Neves . Pictures .
