Barra Beautiful Full Day Tour

How about doing something special that mostly Cariocas do? I am going to take you to the most modern area in Rio, where the nature is exuberant and a completely different scenary from everything you've seen so far from the "basic" touristic spots! Only a few tourists know this place not explored turisticaly. We'll take a (very simple) boat tour on a lagoon known as 'The Carioca everglades' and get off on one of the islands and walk around to experience the quiet life there.

-We're going to drive from your hotel, airport or Cruise Ship Terminal to Barra da Tijuca, by the famous lagoon called Rodrigo de Freitas in Ipanema and Leblon area, also we're going to drive by Leblon and Ipanema beaches, the 2 most expensive areas in Brazil! -Then we're going to stop at a beach called Cucumber Beach, where the hangliders and paragliders land. -Then I am going to take you to Barra da Tijuca and we're going to take a little simple boat, to explore another lagoon and its 7 islands to see the wild life there, such as alligators, capivaras (the biggest rodent), storks, different kinds os ducks and birds. -We may stop at one of these islands for lunch, or any other one that you like. -After all that fun we will drive by Barra Beach and you will take a helicopter flight over the most beautiful and famous beaches in Rio, the lagoon Rodrigo de Freitas, Sugar Loaf, the Tijuca Forest some slums, like Favela Vidigal and Rocinha, the biggest favela in Latin America, and finally the Christ the Redeemer
