This was a great tour due to Michael's knowledge about the City of Rio de Janeiro. His explanations and insights as to the history of each site and the city (and Brazil) was extraordinary. At every site he knew the all the people, which helped us move quickly to gain entry with a minimum of waiting. He was open easy to talk with. Thanks Michael!
We had a great day touring Rio. Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf mountain, Selaron Steps, Sambodrome and more. He knows his stuff and we were very efficient with our time. We stopped for Empanadas for lunch and sat and watched the boats in the bay. Overall, it was a fantastic day in Rio.
A day full of marvellous discoveries. We had a fantastic time and Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Michael had pre-booked our tickets for Christ the Redeemer so it was great to skip the line! A wonderful day with a top notch guide.
Michael is an amazing tour guide! He did two tours for us. One for my daughter and her fiancee then a few days later for myself and my husband. Each tour was catered to our interests. Michael is very knowledgeable, communicative and a pleasure to spend the day with. We have used tours by locals in several countries. It’s the only way I will do a tour. If you find yourself in Rio De Janeiro, I highly recommend hiring Michael! You won’t be disappointed!
Michael is the GREATEST! He knows how to skip the lines, somehow park close to every attraction, and get to whatever you want to see. We went to more places and saw more in our 7 hours with him than we would have in 2 days with another tour. Spend as much or as little time as you want anywhere. Very educated and speaks fluent English. To top it off, took us to a little dive that had fantastic food! Extremely satisfied -thanks again, Michael!!
Michael did an excellent job showing us Rio and giving us a sense of what life is like there. His English was excellent, and he was very flexible to accommodate us. It was a very hot day so we made some last minute changes. Would recommend him to anyone.
