Hello - my name is Jessica and welcome to Sweden - Välkommen!

I am so happy you have chosen to travel to Sweden and visit Stockholm - my home city where I have lived half of my life. Whether you are here for a long visit or just for short while - I would love to show you my home town and introduce you to our Swedish culture and traditions whilst showing you some unique parts of Stockholm and its surroundings, places that are off the beaten track as well as all the "must sees"! I would like to offer you a very Swedish experience.

If, before your trip, you would like to get an in depth knowledge of Swedish Culture and Stockholm I have published a book about Stockholm introducing foreigners, expats and diplomats to 'the Swedish way of life' - you will find it on Amazon under the title "Stockholm, Sweden - At Your Fingertips". I also had the honour of guiding Rick Steves in Stockholm in 2023 as he needed to update his book after the pandemic.

As a daughter of a Swedish diplomat I have lived abroad half of my life - in Belgium, Kenya, Israel, Greece etc. and what a fantastic world this is! Now I would like to share with you "my world" here in Sweden.

I would love to show you the sights and sounds of Stockholm. Experience the old and new City. If you have already been here before, why not let me show you the tranquil suburb of Lidingö - away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Maybe a hike through one of our nature reserves, visit a farm from the 18th century and for the hardy, maybe a dip in the lake.

When you have been on this tour, you will have a pretty good idea of the layout of Stockholm and an understanding of how Swedes live their life.

This tour will cover many parts of the city - the Old Town (Gamla Stan) Södermalm as well as the green lush "Djurgarden" where many of my favourite museums are. If we feel adventurous you might even like to visit some of the beautiful Stockholm suburbs - maybe the UNESCO world heritage Woodland cemetery where Greta Garbo lies or why not the Haga Park where our Crown Princess family reside. We will have the car all the time, to minimize walking.

Full Day Car Tour of Stockholm

I will meet where we decide and spend four hours with you, Lets walk the streets of Stockholm together, have a coffee and some traditional sweet bread, watch the making of traditional swedish candy, visit historical and spectacular sites in Stockholm and get the feeling of the city. Stockholm is an interesting combination of ancient history and a modern city and Swedens fastest expanding area. The city has many parks, and nature is fresh and close. If you prefer it we can take public transportation and ferryboats in the city, or I will show you how and where you can combine your stay in Stockholm with experiences and impressions.
