Shore excursion, Stockholm at its best by car or minivan

This was truly the best way to see Stockholm in 1 day. Our cruise docked 45 min away from stockholm. If we took a train, it would have been about 1.5 hour each way. By booking a private transfer, we were able to visit VASA right when it opened and few people were there. Tim knew how to stay ahead of the crowd throughout our day. Made very efficient use of our day. We were able to have nice lunch, go to noble proze center, see the palace and crown jewels, armory. When my mom and husband wanted to sit out on certain shops, he took them to do other things while we took our time in museums. Highly customizable. Truly the best way to spend our day.

Tim gave a great tour! Very knowledgeable about Stockholm and its history. Visited the Old Town and watched the changing of the guard on horseback. Followed by History Museum and Vasa Museum. Tim knew a lot of tricks/short cuts to navigate through traffic/parking which helped us maximize time in Stockholm. Pickup and return from Nynashamn.

Tim was a great guide- extremely knowledgeable and personable We were able to see parts of Stockholm we never would have seen on our own.

Everything about the tour was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and I love all of his commentary. He knew all the ways to get me close to venues, which was super helpful because I have mobility issues. The tour was personalized, well planned, and just a total delight!

Tim was our tour guide and he was wonderful! We got so much information from him about history, current events, and daily life in Sweden. He has a great sense of humor, knew just where to take us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. We enjoyed a lunch of Swedish meat balls at the Vaasa Museum - doesn't get any better than that. He was one of the highlights of our trip. We are 4 seniors (80 years old) and he paced the trip perfectly for us. I highly recommend him - he did a terrific job.

The tour provided by Tim was the most comprehensive learning experience we have had using private tours around the world. We were impressed by his knowledge and his passion for his country. We ended the tour feeling that we had gained an extensive knowledge of the country, its history and most importantly its people. Tim was flexible during the tour regarding what to visit and what to drive by with commentary. Highly recommended.
