Stockholm is my town and I would love to share it with you. I was born here, grew up in Stockholm and have spent most of my life in Stockholm. Let me take you around Stockholm to experience the feeling of an old city with many interesting historical places and a modern way of life. Spending the day together, we'll walk, use public transportation and ferries to get around the city. I will help you gain a real sense of the city by taking you to places, stroll the streets of Stockholm and look at it from some of the best viewpoints. When it is time for lunch you can choose between very traditional or more trendy restaurants. There is a bundle of them! The summer days in Stockholm are long and bright. The sun rises around 2 in the morning and sets after 11 in the evening. Before we start our day together, pick three of the following options: •A walk in the Old Town, along the same streets that people walked in the Middle Ages. •A visit to the Royal Palace - the royal family's official residence. •A visit inside the Stockholm Cathedral, wich pre-dates the 13th century •A visit to The City hall, Were the Nobel Price Banquet is held Let's go!
It was a pleasure to walk throughout "Stockholm in a Day" with Caroline. In addition to being punctual & well-prepared, she capably & courteously adapted both to our priorities in sightseeing and our aging backs & feet. In particular, and even though the Vasa Museum has superb signage, we got far more out of that wonderful place with Caroline's help than we ever could have by ourselves.
Caroline was so knowledgeable and accommodating to our wishes. We truly got the feel for Stockholm seen though the eyes of a local who truly loves her city.
Loved the day with Caroline! It was like spending the day with a good friend who had a lot of information! She was very flexible on sights to see, made the stories come alive for me, and recommended an amazing place to have late lunch. My favorite sight of the day was the City Hall where Nobel festivities are held so be sure and include it on your list. Don't hesitate to book with Caroline, you will be glad you did!!
Caroline was great at adapting her tour to our physical limitations. We had a great time experiencing all there different types of public transportation available in Stockholm. The Subways, Trolleys, and Water Taxis were all exciting and very well explained and enjoyed. The places visited were all very interesting and thoughtfully explained. We will highly recommend this tour to everyone who has the time available and wants a great, exciting, and informational day in Stockholm.

This is mainly a walking tour, but depending where you would like to to we can use public transportation, or go in a taxi if you prefer. Stockholm is not such a big city so it is easy to walk between the areas, and the walking also gives you a nice experience of my city.
