Välkommen till Stockholm! My hometown for the past 40 years and one of my favorite places in the world. I worked as a tourist information officer for the City of Stockholm for many years and today I am a licensed tour guide. Stockholm offers a lot of culture, nature, shopping, great museums, theater, design, history, a beautiful archipelago and the Old Town. I enjoy visiting these attractions and I would like to invite you to join me to discover them during your visit to Stockholm. My free time I like to spend with my daughter, family and friends visiting the archipelago, relaxing and maybe picking some berries and mushrooms. I love downhill skiing, I was brought up in Finland next to a ski hill. I also enjoy reading history books, cooking, visiting exhibitions and flea markets. I am positive and friendly. I enjoy meeting new people and do everything I can to help guests to make the most of their visit in Stockholm. Overview of your Stockholm tour
You are very welcome to this private walking tour of Old Town, we will discover wonderful old buildings, many of them from the 17th and 18th centuries and you'll hear about the hidden secrets of the Old Town. We will also see the Royal Palace, the official residence of our King Carl XVI Gustav and its guards, as well as the Stockholm Cathedral that was a small village church already several hundred years ago. Let's stroll along the narrow cobblestone streets and see the Great Square with its old well where the traditional Christmas market is held every year in December and summertime is filled with happy tourist enjoying the sun. Lets also discover the Viking Age runestone, 1000 years old, learn about the exciting Vikings and their history.
