I worked as a tourist information officer for the City of Stockholm for many years and today I am a licensed tour guide. Stockholm offers a lot of culture, nature, shopping, great museums, theater, design, history, a beautiful archipelago and the Old Town. I enjoy visiting these attractions and I would like to invite you to join me to discover them during your visit to Stockholm. My free time I like to spend with my daughter, family and friends visiting the archipelago, relaxing and maybe picking some berries and mushrooms. I love downhill skiing, I was brought up in Finland next to a ski hill. I also enjoy reading history books, cooking, visiting exhibitions and flea markets. I am positive and friendly. I enjoy meeting new people and do everything I can to help guests to make the most of their visit in Stockholm. If you are an elderly person or have children with you, no problems, we will discover Stockholm "your" way together. Overview of your Stockholm tour
Welcome to Stockholm! Let's have this private tour to experience the history and the modern lifestyle of Stockholm. I love my hometown and it has a lot to offer! I will show you the most fabulous places: the Vasa Museum (a ship that sunk on its maiden voyage 1628) and of course, the Old Town with its narrow cobblestone streets! You will discover wonderful old buildings, many of them from the 17th and 18th centuries and some of the basements 13th & 14th centuries. You will also see the Royal Palace and its guards, as well as the Stockholm Cathedral as you stroll along the narrow cobblestone streets. The Great Square, with its old well and traditional Christmas market in December, is filled with happy travelers enjoying the sun in the summertime. This panoramic private tour will take you to many of the 14 islands that Stockholm is built on and connected by 57 bridges.

It was a beautiful day in Stockholm. What a beautiful city of water and bridges, architecture and history! Mecki was super friendly and accommodated our pace and mobility needs.
