The Highlights of Stockholm Tour with a Private Guide

Mecki was the type of guide we were hoping for and more. She arrived at our hotel on time, and we sat down to discuss what we would do on our tour. She personalized our agenda, made time and recommended a place for lunch, took my wife to places for souvenirs and kept us entertained the whole time. She’s very knowledgeable about Stockholm, and the places we needed to visit. We were never rushed. It was especially nice being able to enter places without waiting, and just having the three of us instead of a group. We are older, and may be a little slower, but we saw everything and walked over 3 1/2 miles on the tour. Stopped when we needed to rest and took different modes of public transportation to get around. We highly recommend Mecki as a personal tour guide if you’re planning to come to Stockholm. Mecki was incredible! We met at our hotel in the morning. Mecki sat us down for a few minutes to get acquainted and to get a feeling of our interests. We knew nothing about Stockholm, and settled on a tour of Stockholm's City Hall, the Vasa Museum, and a good overall stroll around the city. Mecki kept us busy, but at a relaxed pace with lots of interesting information. Her guidance through the magnificent City Hall was perfect. Then a quick bus ride to the ferry dock and a lovely ferry ride. Mecki was well informed about the Vasa. Mecki's walk from the Vasa Museum along Strandvagen back to the Old Town was very pleasant and picturesque. She left us with a great impression of Stockholm and a great desire to return. We highly recomment Mecki.

If you are traveling to Stockholm and need a guide book Mecki B. Do it now! She was fantastic. Tour included City Hall, a stop at the subway. Trust me it is worth a look. She took us to the Vasa museum and a final shopping stop at Svenskt Tenn . Finally she recommended restaurants for us at the end of the tour. Also included lots of information along the walk that we would have missed without her. She was great and I recommend booking her.

My husband, adult son and I just spent a wonderful day with our guide Mecki in the city of Stockholm. She was very knowledgeable, flexible and a joy to be around. We got so much more out of this tour than we would have in a larger group. We covered a lot of ground and enjoyed every minute. 100% recommend.

Mecki did an outstanding job. She took Denise and I to many nice spots including City Hall and the old ship museum, she knows her stuff. We used public transportation and a ferry, very interesting. We would use her again when in Stockholm.
