Be it Nobel with its splendour, the Old Town with its medieval grace, Skansen with its diversity or Vasa with its authenticity, it would be my pleasure to be your guide along the way. My goal is to inform, entertain and above all impress so you leave beautiful Stockholm with a yearning to return and do it all over again! I’m a well travelled Swedish Canadian who has called Stockholm home for the last 30 years. My diploma from my Licensed Stockholm Guide accreditation proudly hangs beside my Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Business Administration degrees. Experienced guide, working for many years with one of Sweden’s largest global industrial companies. Now combining my love of Stockholm with my love for guiding.. English is my mother tongue. Swedish is a close second. Spanish in third place. I understand both French and German well but the conversation level is rather rusty.. When not guiding guests around our beautiful city, I can be found on Söder with Alfred, my golden retriever, in Gamla Stan dancing Flamenco , improving my Bridge or visiting one of Stockholm’s 100 plus museums.. If you have plans for visiting our lovely city, let me know! I can help you tick the boxes you already have or supply you with those boxes. We can walk it, bus it, metro it, boat it or drive in style - up to you.. Let's get planning!

Welcome to Stockholm! Lace up those comfortable walking shoes as we set out to learn about the Superstars, Heroes and Happenings of this northern beauty! By world standards, this charming cosy capital is small so you can discover a lot in half a day. I have selected my favourite haunts which highlight the cornerstones of Stockholm's rich history. This intertwined with insights into the life of today's Swede should leave you with with a good picture of Stockholm, Sweden and Swedish society. I love this beautiful city that I have called home for the last 30 years and look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for all things Swedish with you. The itinerary is set but not in stone. I am flexible so it's up to you to decide the scope, I will happily provide the content!
This tour is all inclusive. Entrance fees and public transportation are included. - We start with a tour of the City Hall , venue of perhaps the most famous dinner party in the world - The Nobel Banquet! - Next stop is the Old Town where we will spend time exploring this well preserved medieval centre whose over 500 year old cobblestones have witnessed probably more than they would like to tell. I will tell you... - The Royal Palace - this low-key but oh so elegant workplace of the Royal family is our next stop. - Now we leave the historical centre by ferry on our way to the next island and our final destination, the Vasa Museum! This 400 year old ship succumbed to a light breeze 15 minutes into her maiden voyage ending up on the bottom of the Stockholm Harbour.. - Your private tour concludes here . You can stay on our pleasure island for lunch, more museums or I will direct you back to your hotel or ship.
