Välkommen till Stockholm! My hometown for the past 40 years and one of my favorite places in the world. I worked as a tourist information officer for the City of Stockholm for many years and today I am a licensed tour guide. Stockholm offers a lot of culture, nature, shopping, great museums, theater, design, history, a beautiful archipelago and the Old Town. I enjoy visiting these attractions and I would like to invite you to join me to discover them during your visit to Stockholm. My free time I like to spend with my daughter, family and friends visiting the archipelago, relaxing and maybe picking some berries and mushrooms. I love downhill skiing, I was brought up in Finland next to a ski hill. I also enjoy reading history books, cooking, visiting exhibitions and flea markets. I am positive and friendly. I enjoy meeting new people and do everything I can to help guests to make the most of their visit in Stockholm. Overview of your Stockholm tour
This is your chance to have a local experience with your private guide. I love the Old Town and its energy, all the people there and the lovely old buildings. Let's go and see the cobblestone streets, secondhand stores where you might find the best present to bring back home, design, furniture, glass stores while admiring the astonishing architecture. In the Old Town, you will, of course, hear about the history of Stockholm and see the Royal Palace and the Cathedral where many royal weddings have been held, latest HRH Crown Princess Victoria. We will visit the lively Kungstädgården Park and my favorite metro station witch is located 100 feet underground with its cool design/art. We will observe "Stockholmers", the city life and get to know them better. You will also get the chance to hug a famous Swedish actress (statue) with a normal body temperature. . .
