Stockholm by water

We spent 5 delightful hours aboard Tim’s boat cruising the waters around Stockholm. We saw so much more than is possible on a large public tour. We even had a quick stop on a private island to visit a local coffee shop and purveyor of Chocolate made locally. For a personalized tour you won’t go wrong selecting this one.

Tim is an excellent guide! He is extremely knowledgeable about Stockholm. We spent lovely time on his boat touring various canals , the lake, and even the locks. We highly recommend Tim!

It was truly a special experience seeing both the well known parts of the city from the water side, and elements of life in this unique place most visitors (and residents) never see. WOW!! Amazing! Exceptional! If we could give Tim 10 stars we would. From the educational component to his friendliness to the fun, we could not imagine a better tour. He was even so kind to come by our hotel when we left an item on his boat.

Captain Tim was an outstanding tour guide for us. Being out on the water and seeing Stockholm from a different perspective was a tremendous experience. We were able to see things we never could have seen on a land-based tour, and we were definitely able to see a higher volume of important sights. also compared to one of the bigger tour boats we were able to go in areas that the big boats never would have been able to go. Tim did provide historical, cultural and architectural insight to what we were seeing, but even better was the chance for all of us to just talk with him and have conversations about life in Sweden. The feel of the tour is more of a going out for a fun afternoon on a boat with a knowledgeable friend rather than a corporate experience. Tim received my highest recommendation. i would give him more stars if I could.

Tim was an exceptional guide. He was very knowledgeable showing us the Vasa. His cruise of Stockholm harbor was so relaxing we did not want to return to our cruise ship.
