Hello!! My name is Mayte , I was born and raised in Madrid , as my parents are locals , I am a "cat". I studied Tourism in the University of Madrid because I love history, art , traveling and meeting people. After traveling through Europe for 10 years guiding tourist groups, I decided to do the exams to become an official guide of Madrid , Segovia, Toledo and Avila. Certificated by Rasgo Network of Spanish Jewish Quarters. I am waiting for the chance to show you my lovely country . We can explore these cities together to discover the history, the art and the legends that they hide. It is a great opportunity for you to visit Spain with a local person who is a professional guide with 15 years of experience. The tours will be customized to your pace and interests . Mayte is a terrific guide and I would recommend her highly. She met us at the hotel to take us on our trip to Toledo. We started with a taxi ride overlooking the city with wonderful views and an introduction to the history of the city from the Roman times to the Ottoman to the present day. Toledo was impressive. Mayte was knowledgeable about the history, and especially the art, and in that regard, I highly recommend her if your main focus is on the art and art history. The tour cost would be better value for a small group than for an individual, in my opinion.

Maybe was great and equally adept at the history of the painting at the Prado and the city’s architecture. We also came away with insights into Madrid’s street life. Highly recommend.
