Hello my name is Janez. I was born in a peaceful town, one of the capital cities of Slovenia, called Kranj. It sits among Julian, Karavanks and Kamnisko Savinjskes alps and on top of that it's also the capital of our greenest region Carniola. I come from a master craftsmen oriented ancestors of blacksmiths, horse carriage drivers and carpenters, but I've decided to become a tour guide and therefore just introduce Slovenian traditions to travelers. Next to the profession of an international tour guide, I am also a professional driver, personal-care assistant and a musician. I also study on the College for sustainable future, to become a graduate of environmentalism. If you like the topic of sustainability or ecology, you surely won't be bored traveling with me and while sightseeing we can discuss all the issues of our planet.

As a tour guide I find myself fulfilled and happy as a person. I decided to become a tour guide mostly for the broad range of knowledge I'm gaining and also for being able to travel and enjoy working at various places with a variety of people. After three years of professional guiding I shine best on private tours driver-guiding, where my guests are having a fully relaxed day, enjoying different exotic highlights. You first get to visit the Lipica Stud Farm, where the world famous white horses come from. Originaly an idea of Habsburgs for having a pure white breed for parades. 
In the Postojna caves you'll be amazed at the millions of years old natural statues and underground chambers. There is also an elusive species of fish inside called Elm or Proteus or Human fish.
