Guide #25952
Hi, my name is Agrita, welcome to Riga, my all time favourite city! I am a certified professional guide and I provide private, tailor made tours in Latvia. The driving force behind my work is the joy and pleasant surprise I see in my guests when they come to my hometown Riga and travel around Latvia. They are surprised by the splendid nature, the trees and the flowers everywhere they go. Riga is a vibrant city. It is a place where you can enjoy architecture and culture, meet the locals and try Latvian cuisine. We will visit Old Town Riga, green boulevards and parks, the Art Nouveau district, Riga's Central Market and much more. Outside the capital, combined walking and driving tours to discover in-depth stories about Riga, Jurmala, Sigulda, Kuldiga, Rundale Palace and more. If you are interested in Jewish heritage in Riga, ghost towns or Soviet era relics, I may know just the place. I am passionate about history, culture, architecture, the seaside and food. When not working, I enjoy travelling and going to music concerts. I look forward to welcoming you in Riga and perhaps I can make this place your favourite city too! Licensed Riga city guide. Licensed guide in Art Nouveau museum in Riga. Member of Association of Latvian Professional Guides. For guests from cruise ships: - unless agreed otherwise I will meet you outside the port gates.

We met Agrita at our hotel. She was a delight from the start. Very friendly and eager to share the sights of Riga with enthusiasm. The 4 hours we spent with her flew by. She was most knowledgeable and shared many personal touches. Highly recommend her for this tour!!
Great tour, great guide. Highly recommended for the first full day of your stay in Riga. Agrita is very cheerful and loves sharing the history of Riga, tips for cultural experiences from a fancy Opera to good cheap local restaurants, and the modern social and political milieu. She'll point you in the right direction whether your interests are castles and churches, art and...
Tours by locals does it again.! Agrita was a fabulous tour guide. She was super informative and shared her life in Riga and gave us a real insight into the country and its history. Riga is such a beautiful city and seeing it through Agrita’s eyes made it come to life. The real bonus was making a new friend in another part of the world.
Thoroughly enjoyable guided tour with Agrita. If you’re interested in history, geography, politics and Latvian traditions and customs- Agrita will not disappoint. I found the tour highly informative and entertaining. We walked and talked all around Riga for 3 1/2 hours and time flew. A memorable day. Agrita’s English is absolutely perfect too. 😁
