Visit Riga Synagogue - only synagogue that survived the Holocaust and is currently active center. Continue through the Museum of the Riga Ghetto and Holocaust in Latvia - informative place about Holocaust of World War Two Memorial of the Great Choral Synagogue. A place of great tragedy of 4th July 1941 when many people were trapped inside and have burnt down together with building. Travel through the historical Jewish quarter of Maskavas Forstate suburb. See the first Riga Synagogue and how it looks today. Visit the old Jewish cemetery See the Salaspils Memorial Ensemble Visit Rumbula and learn about one of the largest sites of mass murders of Jews of Europe. Finish the tour on a positive vibes and learn about Zanis Lipke who created an underground bunker to save Jews from Nazis. The Synagogue & Ghetto Memorial are open from 10 to 17, except Saturdays and Jewish holidays. Zanis Lipke Memorial is open every day except Sunday and Monday.
