Hi, my name is Agrita, welcome to Riga, my all time favourite city! I am a certified professional guide and I provide private, tailor made tours in Latvia. The driving force behind my work is the joy and pleasant surprise I see in my guests when they come to my hometown Riga and travel around Latvia. They are surprised by the splendid nature, the trees and the flowers everywhere they go. Riga is a vibrant city. It is a place where you can enjoy architecture and culture, meet the locals and try Latvian cuisine. We will visit Old Town Riga, green boulevards and parks, the Art Nouveau district, Riga's Central Market and much more. Outside the capital, combined walking and driving tours to discover in-depth stories about Riga, Jurmala, Sigulda, Kuldiga, Rundale Palace and more. If you are interested in Jewish heritage in Riga, ghost towns or Soviet era relics, I may know just the place. I am passionate about history, culture, architecture, the seaside and food. When not working, I enjoy travelling and going to music concerts. I look forward to welcoming you in Riga and perhaps I can make this place your favourite city too! Licensed Riga city guide. Licensed guide in Art Nouveau museum in Riga. Member of Association of Latvian Professional Guides. For guests from cruise ships: - unless agreed otherwise I will meet you outside the port gates.

Kuldiga, an ancient town from the times of the Hanseatic League, is a true gem of the Kurzeme region. Narrow streets and wooden houses with red roof tiles are well preserved and create a romantic atmosphere in the town. Because of its authentic planning and architecture which reflects the local building traditions of the 17th and 18th centuries, Kuldiga has been included in the tentative list of UNESCO world heritage sites. During the tour we will visit the picturesque historical centre, the old brick bridge and see the rapids of the River Venta. We will have lunch in one of Kuldiga's cosy cafes, which will be chosen according to your preferences. On the way to Kuldiga it is possible to make a stop at the Sabile town, which is known for its wine hill (included in the Guinness World Book of Records as the northernmost open-air vineyard). Sabile also hosts a Garden of Dolls - an open-air exhibition with life-size dolls dressed up in different costumes. . . and accessorised.
In the morning, after picking you up in a previously agreed upon location, we will drive from Riga to the town of Sabile. We will visit Open Air Exhibition of Dolls. Approximately after a 40 minute drive we will arrive in Kuldiga where we will do a 1h 30 min guided walking tour of the city. We will stop for a 1hr lunch in a local cosy cafe. After lunch we will continue to explore Kuldiga on foot for another 1h 30 min. After the walking tour we will have a 2h drive back to Riga.
