Hello from Riga, Latvia, Baltic states! Since early 2000 as a licensed guide, I am specializing in customized private tours as a guide and driver in my beloved Riga, Latvia, Baltic States, and Eastern Europe. It could be your first look at my city or a specialized tour like Jewish heritage, military history, food and beverages or architecture, and culture. As so many people have migrated away in course of our history, many are looking back for their Baltic ancestors. Here I can help as a historian to search in archives their family trees. About myself - I was born in a loving family in Riga, Latvia. Some moment I fell in love with gardening and graduated as a landscape designer, later teacher of history, psychology and handicrafts, later conference interpreter and translator. Well, probably a student's life attracted me. But all the time, traveling remained my passion. After crossing the World with groups of travelers I suddenly realized how great is my own country and region and that I have a lot to do to present and share. Now besides guiding I am a happy owner of a small berry farm and a former train station in Latvian countryside that is now partly renovated and turned into a little museum and recreation place. All my tours can be customized and modified upon your request! Official license for guiding in Riga in EN, RU. Master degree in history, pedagogic, linguistics. Licenses to guide in most of museums. Official guide for European Presidency in Latvia tours in Riga in 2015 Driver licence since 1996. Being a fully licenced guide I have no restrictions.

It is a tour in the vicinity of Riga to discover Latvia's history, culture, and nature on the example of these two beautiful towns. Every foot of this land has seen ancient Liiv's struggle for freedom, early Northern crusades, Polish, Swedish, Russian armies marching along. . . But people always remained here, loved this place and called - the Garden of God. Could it be so? Now it is up to you to decide! There is so much to do and to see in the area, but we can any time customize our tour upon your time, interest and strength!
