Hello from Riga, Latvia, Baltic states! Since early 2000 as a licensed guide, I am specializing in customized private tours as a guide and driver in my beloved Riga, Latvia, Baltic States, and Eastern Europe. It could be your first look at my city or a specialized tour like Jewish heritage, military history, food and beverages or architecture, and culture. As so many people have migrated away in course of our history, many are looking back for their Baltic ancestors. Here I can help as a historian to search in archives their family trees. About myself - I was born in a loving family in Riga, Latvia. Some moment I fell in love with gardening and graduated as a landscape designer, later teacher of history, psychology and handicrafts, later conference interpreter and translator. Well, probably a student's life attracted me. But all the time, traveling remained my passion. After crossing the World with groups of travelers I suddenly realized how great is my own country and region and that I have a lot to do to present and share. Now besides guiding I am a happy owner of a small berry farm and a former train station in Latvian countryside that is now partly renovated and turned into a little museum and recreation place.
