Olga was fantastic. Her communication on where to meet made it easy to meet up and her knowledge of both Riga and general history, to be able to put everything into context text for my children, was outstanding. We were able to tweak the tour as we went and could see where my children were more and less interested yet still gave the adults everything they wanted as well. Highly highly recommend!!
Olga is organized , very knowledgeable, friendly, personable. The tour was everything we expected. This was our 4 th tour this trip with Toursby locals and each tour has been wonderful. Taking our 4 th tour today and expect it will be as terrific as the previous ones.
Olga was wonderful. She beautifully and thoroughly explained Jewish history in Latvia and took me to all of the relevant locations. She was also extremely knowledgeable about art nouveau architecture. Olga was even able to point me in the direction of trying to figure some of my ancestry. I would absolutely recommend her.
I enjoyed the tour. Olga shared lots of knowledge about art nouveau architecture, was friendly and eager to help use our allotted time efficiently. Was easy to reach pre arrival and was flexible about planning an itinerary.
This Jewish Heritage Tour was fantastic! Olga was very knowledgeable and a tremendous guide. She had planned a wonderful itinerary that I'm sure would have taken us days to cover on our own. Our family was comfortable in her van and the pacing of all the sites was perfect.

-- I pick you up in the port or your hotel -- We have a ride to Kipsala island to see J. Lipke museum and to Victory park to the memorial for Winners in the Great Patriotic war where in 1946 took place execution of German Nazi officers -- We have a stop in famous and the most representative Art-Nouveau quarters to see amazing buildings by M. Eisenstein -- Then we drive through the centre of the city along the ring of boulevards heading to the ruins of the Great Choral Synagogue and Moscow forshtadt that became the territory of the Riga ghetto at the WW II times -- Passing the Old Jewish cemetery we drive along all the sad way to the place of mass murder of Jews in Rumbula Forest -- We visit a memorial to victims of fascism at the place of a concentration camp in Salaspils at WW II times where you feel the heart-beating of history and of thousands of people killed there -- On our way back to Riga we visit the Ghetto museum and Peitav Shul -- Drop-off at your hotel or in the port.
