During combined excursion (part - by car, part - on foot) I will try to show you my Riga where I am living and working in all its glory and not only. . . I will meet at the hotel You are staying or any other suitable place for You in the city, and excursion will starts with area called "quiet Riga". By the way, Riga sometimes is called "small Paris" as well. You will see Riga built in the early 20th century, rich with Art Nouveau buildings with luxurious stucco on the facades of houses. After that, we will drive to one of the first garden cities in Europe, an area called "Mezaparks" (former Kaiserwald). Interesting private villas, the largest open stage in Latvia and Riga Zoo are located there. After we move to another Riga - "Moscow Suburb", where russian sculptor Vera Mukhina was born, and during the Second World War there was a Jewish ghetto, now there is a memorial. During the walking tour you will look around the Old Town full with architectural monuments - Dome cathedral, Blackheads House, Swedish gate e. t. c. , listen to the booming of the narrow streets of Riga, hear legends and plunge into the carefree atmosphere of the capital of Latvia.
