Hi, my name is Agrita, welcome to Riga, my all time favourite city! I am a certified professional guide and I provide private, tailor made tours in Latvia. The driving force behind my work is the joy and pleasant surprise I see in my guests when they come to my hometown Riga and travel around Latvia. They are surprised by the splendid nature, the trees and the flowers everywhere they go. Riga is a vibrant city. It is a place where you can enjoy architecture and culture, meet the locals and try Latvian cuisine. We will visit Old Town Riga, green boulevards and parks, the Art Nouveau district, Riga's Central Market and much more. Outside the capital, combined walking and driving tours to discover in-depth stories about Riga, Jurmala, Sigulda, Kuldiga, Rundale Palace and more. If you are interested in Jewish heritage in Riga, ghost towns or Soviet era relics, I may know just the place. I am passionate about history, culture, architecture, the seaside and food. When not working, I enjoy travelling and going to music concerts. I look forward to welcoming you in Riga and perhaps I can make this place your favourite city too! Licensed Riga city guide. Licensed guide in Art Nouveau museum in Riga. Member of Association of Latvian Professional Guides. For guests from cruise ships: - unless agreed otherwise I will meet you outside the port gates.

Jewish Heritage Tour is designed to give you an in-depth insight into a history of Jews of Latvia with emphasis on Riga. I got very interested to study Jewish heritage when I realized that Jewish people have lived on Latvian territory for centuries. And that quite many internationally recognized Jewish people come from Latvia. Producing some of the finest names in the world of photography, movies and even in jeans productions. People like Sir Isaiah Berlin, Philippe Halsman, Sergei Eisenstein, Mark Rothko just to name a few. Jewish history has its darkness too. Holocaust took too many lives in Riga and Latvia. Memorial places help to tell that story and remind never again, never forget. Visit to Zanis Lipke Memorial also tells the story of brave people who help saving Jewish people. The tour involves a fair amount of driving as many memorial places are in the suburbs outside the city center.
