Hi! My name is Patrizia, I was born in Palermo where I have always been living,
ever enjoying this gorgeous, cool and fascinating city, amazing for its history and culture.

I have always worked in Tourism, a subject that I studied at the high school. I also have a love for Languages and History and Traditions I developed during my studies, always one of my biggest passions.
I am mostly a cook and a guide as I deeply think that cooking is an important part of the culture of people, which reveals its history and roots, but also a way to enjoy life together too!
And then I am lucky to live in Palermo, because it is a big example of it, as it is a multi-ethical town, a city of Arts with a very ancient history.

I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments.

I will lead you to discover Palermo, the history and the culture through the monuments and Churches and Markets.

The best way to visit our town is walking, because Palermo is an ancient city with narrow streets in the oldest part. You will have an overview of the town with focus on the historical centre, rich of monuments and places to visit. I will give you informations about local traditions, history, food, and anecdotes that make Palermo as a unique town, very different from the rest of Italy.

The tour is private, so you will be never be rushed or in a big crowd. I will be your personal cook at the end of the tour, because you will be leaded into a nice charming apartment with great view on Palermo and where you will have a very nice lunch.

Enjoy a Sicilian home made meal prepared just for you by your personal cook. Our Chef is an experienced cook who loves her job and is passionate to share this passion with guests.

Sit in a very comfort zone, that' s your apartment or house or villa and look at the preparation of your great delicious meal. Your personal Chef will come in your house with basic equipments to cook for you the best traditional Sicilian dinner you can ever taste. A choice of very good Sicilian wines, white and red ones is part of the deal!

You will have some information about food and wines and about culinary Sicilian tradition by the Chef, while she works on your lunch or dinner.

The meal is based on local and seasonal ingredients, from market to table, and it is made of four courses, from appetizer to dessert: but all strictly Sicilian!

You can choose between a fish or beef or veg menu, also gluten free if you inform us in advance.

I am a cook because I love food and preparing dishes to offer to my guests!

I have been cooking since I was a child. I cooked for my native Family, for my brothers and parents, and then for my children and friends too!
In the last 10 years I turned this passion into a job and it is for me one of the most beautiful experiences, because I meet different people from all over the world and we share information and experiences about travelling and visiting Sicily and Italy!

While I am cooking, you will taste some Sicilian good wine in a very relaxing and comfort area of my house. Yes, you will not go to a restaurant but to my house, and that' s a pleasure for me!

The meal I prepare is based on local and seasonal ingredients, made about four courses, from appetizer to the dessert. Of course all is strictly Sicilian, but with many influences, as Sicily has been invaded by lots of invaders along the centuries who have left their witness in the culture, history, monuments and food as well.
