Private Lunch or Dinner by your Personal Local Cook

I am a cook because I love food and preparing dishes to offer to my guests! I have been cooking since I was a child. I cooked for my native Family, for my brothers and parents, and then for my children and friends too! In the last 10 years I turned this passion into a job and it is for me one of the most beautiful experiences, because I meet different people from all over the world and we share information and experiences about travelling and visiting Sicily and Italy! While I am cooking, you will taste some Sicilian good wine in a very relaxing and comfort area of my house. Yes, you will not go to a restaurant but to my house, and that' s a pleasure for me! The meal I prepare is based on local and seasonal ingredients, made about four courses, from appetizer to the dessert. Of course all is strictly Sicilian, but with many influences, as Sicily has been invaded by lots of invaders along the centuries who have left their witness in the culture, history, monuments and food as well.

We meet in my location at via Vittorio Emanuele, 492 Palermo, second floor, a gorgeous place in front of the Cathedral, hearth of the historic center of Palermo. Arrived at home you will be served with a glass of wine while you admire the view. Then I will prepare your Lunch or Dinner, with fresh local and seasonal ingredients. The meal is made with: 1. Apetizer like caponata or panelle or some Sicilian cooked vegetables. 2. First dish pasta 3. Second dish meat or fish, according to you 4. Side dish like a Sicilian salad 5. Dessert like a cassata or cannolo with a sweet wine 6. The meal is accompanied by one bottle of wine, red or white, for 2 people.
