My name is Francesca and I am a local fully licensed HIKING guide. I live in Cernobbio, south west side of Lake Como, just few kilometers far from the city of Como. I was born in Como in 1980 and since I was little I have been walking in the gorgeous mountains that surround Lake Como. After getting a degree in Economics and working for more than 10 years in Milano as a product manager, I have decided to start a new job that could join my passion, my love for the place where I was born and the possibility to meet people and show them unsual and not turistic spot of Lake Como. That's why in 2012 I got the licence of hiking guide by the Alpine Guide Board and since then I have been hiking with tourists that want to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lake Como and discover the local history and traditions of this gorgeous corner of the World. In Lombardy (Italy) this is the only licensed permitted to guide people in mountain above 600 mt and below 600 mt where there is a hiking path. In italian my licensed is called "Accompagnatore di Media Montagna" and the board is colled "Collegio Regionale delle Guide Alpine della Lombardia" . I can guide people in mountains and in nature up to it is not necessary to use tools such as crampons, cords, etc. I am not licensed to take travelers to local sites, museums, monuments etc. For any transfers you must user public transport or drive car
