I was born and live in Dublin with my family, and I love this city with a passion!

I am a qualified tour guide with over 12 years' experience in the tourism industry. I have been guiding for private walking tours for a number of years!

I have a degree in European Studies and German from Ireland's most prestigious university, Trinity College Dublin and I am particularly interested in the history, politics, literature, art, and architecture of Dublin.

For me a good tour guide should lay the groundwork for a positive and interesting experience of a city for visitors.
I structure my tours in an informal way so that you get to see Dublin through local eyes:

I'll give you a good introduction to the history and culture of Dublin, as well as give you restaurant and shopping tips.

As a mum with three kids I'll also give you an insight into the life of a typical Dublin family!

I hold the 'Dublin City and Environs' tour guide badge and I am listed on the Fáilte Ireland (the National Tourism Development Authority) Directory of Industry qualified guides.

I am also a member of the Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland (ATGI), a professional organisation of tour guides in Ireland.

I have a degree in European Studies and German from Trinity College Dublin and I have a Masters in Translation Studies from Dublin City University (DCU).

I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Do you want to visit the highlights of Dublin with a local? On my walking tour you will visit all the buzzy areas of central Dublin, and get some great cultural, shopping, and gastronomic tips along the way! On our walk we will pass all the must-see sights including Dublin Castle, the 18th century parks St. Stephen's Green and Merrion Square; the Irish Parliament; and the Temple Bar Quarter. We will visit Trinity College Dublin - Dublin's oldest university and home to the famous 8th century manuscript the Book of Kells. As a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, I will be able to share some stories and experience of what it is like to study in one of the top 100 prestigious universities in the world! We will visit Sweney's Pharmacy and learn about its connection to Dublin's most famous writer, James Joyce. We will walk through the shopping area of Grafton Street and Dublin's Creative Quarter. We will finish our tour with Irish Coffees in one of Dublin's famous Victorian pubs.
