Half Day Private Wicklow Mountains Tour

Our Wicklow Mountain tour with Jay was both informative and enjoyable. Loved our visit to the monastery as well as our drive through such a scenic part of the countryside - just a stone’s throw from Dublin. Jay’s knowledge of the area and its history is extensive and her skill at communicating it all in a conversational manner made it an easy listening experience :). We would highly recommend Jay and this tour particularly for anyone wanting to learn and see a bit of life outside of Dublin proper.

We arrived late in to Dublin and it was getting real close to meeting time with Jay. I called to let her know we were not at the hotel yet and she offered to pick us up at the airport! She even swapped out for a bigger car knowing we had luggage. We dropped luggage at hotel and continued on tour to the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. It was stunningly beautiful. We stopped for and excellent lunch and Jay found out it was my husbands birthday and she arranged a surprise celebration for my husband! From the moment we met, it felt like we knew her for many years. She was welcoming, knowledgeable and very fun to be with on our 5 hour tour! Thank you for a great Birthday to remember for sure. Highly recommended.

Jay was a wonderful guide for our trip to County Wicklow searching for ancestral roots. We highly recommend her services! She provided keen historical knowledge of the area as well as leading us on beautiful hikes and making other interesting stops. It was an unrushed day and we appreciated her warmth and hospitality.

A fun day with just enough seaside and countryside, a beautiful gardens experience and informative narrative along the way from a most personable guide. Highly recommend it.

Janine took us on a wonderful tour of the Wicklow Mountains. She is incredibly knowledgeable and shared her expertise about the area as we drove through beautiful countryside. Our tour included an easy hike around Glendalough and a Guiness estate. We also had time for a good lunch in the country. A really great way to spend the day outside of Dublin. Thanks Janine!

Janine was amazing! We had so much fun. She knows her way around and the history of the Irish people. She was flexible with us and let us go at our needed pace. I would highly recommend as the scenery is amazing and Wicklow is beautiful. A great way to see the Irish country.
