Newgrange and Boyne Valley - Private day trip

WOW! What a day it was with Kieran. Do not hesitate, book your tour now. I pre-booked the tour to Newgrange and he told me tickets were all sold out well in advance, in which they were. I was Ok with that and would find something else to do with him. However, he said he would keep trying the website to see if they release any last minute tickets. OMG! He told me he kept refreshing the webpage like every hour. And wouldn't you know, Bam! He scored us two full access tickets for 9am for the very day I booked with him. Knowth and Newgrange were mind blowing experience. I know about Stonehenge and Giza Pyramids...this place was actually as equal exhilaration. Boyne Valley is spectacular. We also visited Trim Castle, yep the Braveheart location. And this is where Kieran really knows his history, especially medieval knowledge. You will learn and have a thrilling adventure. His car was brand new and super clean. He is very punctual and courteous and really funny. If I come back to Ireland, it will be with him for sure.

With Kieran as our guide, our tour of Newgrange, the Boyne Valley, and the surrounding area was the highlight of our visit to Dublin. Over the years, we’ve used many guides with Tours by Locals, and he ranks among the very best—personable, enthusiastic, and deeply knowledgeable about the history of the region. Kieran was a fantastic tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and medieval history in particular and regaled us with many interesting stories and legends. In addition, he was warm and friendly and was very accommodating when we had to make small adjustments to the schedule (when our hotel didn't serve breakfast early enough for us to get an early start to Newgrange/Boyne Valley he took us to a place where we could get breakfast/coffee to go). We highly recommend Kieran!
