My name is Cathy and I am an Irish born and bred tour guide based in our beautiful capital city, Dublin. I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years now and have worked as both a world wide travel manager for a large American company and also as a host and tour guide across Ireland and Europe for the past 8 years. Chat and stroll around the city with an experienced guide and sample some of our traditional food and drinks in iconic spots which the Dubliner's hold dear Beginning at 10. 30am and finishing at 2. 30pm or Starting at 2. 30pm and finishing at 6. 30pm
Your Dublin tour itinerary
This walking tour will begin at our oldest cafe in the city where we will have time to relax over a nice cup of tea and get to know each other and I can give you an overview of Ireland - Our history, population and culture etc before we set off on foot. After our stop here for about 45 minutes, I will take you on a walking tour of the city attractions including : Government Buildings, National History Museum, The National Gallery, Trinity College Central Bank, The Spire and The GPO building (site of our rebellion in 1916) Dublin's cultural hub - Temple Bar Viking Dublin taking in Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral on to St. Patrick's Cathedral We will finish our tour at the oldest pub in Dublin where you will have the chance to stay on for a pint or a meal A fun day out!
