Overview of your Dublin tour

Situated on the north coast of Ireland the Giants Causeway, a landscape of dramatic cliffs, is a must-see for all visitors to Ireland. On our way to the Causeway, Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage Site, we travel through some of Ireland's finest landscapes including the Green Glens of Antrim, a land of legends and folklore. I will entertain you with tales of the warriors of Ulster in ancient times and the story of how the Giants Causeway came to be what it is today, an area of 40, 000 interlocking basalt columns, steppingstones going out to the sea.

We enjoyed an 11 hr tour from Dublin to Giants Causeway, including the Dunluce Castle remains, a quick lunch, the Coast Road, and a bit of Belfast. All in all a great tour. Don is very knowledgeable of Irish history and gave us many facts and figures. But he also expanded our understanding in areas we were not well versed. Though it is an all-day trip, it actually went by rather quickly. We were never rushed and Don gave us enough time to explore in each place we stopped. The driving was safe and his Mercedes SUV was comfortable. I highly rate this experience and recommend it to all.

Don is an excellent tour guide! Our group of 6 had a really good time exploring Northern Ireland the Giants Causeway. He is full of history and wild stories of Finn McCool. He shared his love of this island with us as he chauffeured us around. His knowledge and experience as a tour guide were unmatched. The pub we went to for lunch was perfect! We will be returning to Ireland soon.

- You will be picked up at your agreed location in Dublin - Our journey along the coast will take you to the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge and Dunluce Castle, which was used in the iconic show Game of Thrones. - We will visit the Giants Causeway, where we will follow the legendary footsteps of giants at Northern Ireland's iconic World Heritage Site. - On our return journey we stop in Belfast where you'll get an opportunity to visit the Titanic exhibition or take a Black Taxi Tour showing you the murals depicting Belfast's troubled past and the peace walls. - We return to Dublin early evening with memories to last a lifetime after a fun filled day in Ulster.

Other: Personal expenses. Please note that you do not need tickets for the Giants Causeway and to visit the site (which I would recommend). You only need tickets to visit the Visitor Centre. If you wish to do so, you can book your tickets here: https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/northern-ireland/giants-causeway. Visiting the Rope bridge and walking around the site is free. If you want to cross the bridge, there is a fee. I would recommend to decide that on the day, weather depended as it could be closed from time to time due to high winds.If you wish to take a Black Taxi Tour in Belfast, I'm happy to organise this for you. You can pay this on the day and it will be 20 Euro per person.The entrance fee for the Titanic Museum is not included in the price (should you wish to visit it instead of the Black Taxi Tour).
