Hi, I have been working in the field of tourism since 2010 and love showing people my country. I truly believe that when people are passionate about their work and proud of it, then it really shows in the experience they provide. I was born and raised in North Iceland, specifically in the town of Akureyri, and both I and my family are great outdoors people, which has given me plenty of experience traveling all over my country. I am experienced in guiding groups of all sizes, and tailor-made private tours are something that I have been doing for years. From day tours to multiple-day tours and highlight tours. Professional Tour Guide Certification - University of Akureyri Full membership of the Icelandic Tourist Guide Association Licensed vehicles by the Icelandic Transport Authority. What a wonderful man and tour guide. Armann was engaging, knowledgeable and most welcoming to all four of us. His depth and breadth of knowledge about everything was astounding. He even showed us the part of Akureyri where he grew up. It was a truly wonderful day. The logistics went off without a hitch and his van was most comfortable. We had restroom breaks when needed...
