I was born in Normandy, France, where I also studied. After graduating in 1981, I served in the French Army (Gendarmerie). My dedication to service led me directly to the tourism and service industry where I have been a guide for the past 10 years. And as a true native of France, I have the natural ability to reveal the history and culture of my country by creating memorable experiences for my clients. I also bring with me a passion for art. I discovered the joy of painting when I was given a painting set on my eighth birthday - It was love at first sight! I continued to refine my artistic talent, under a Belgium artist, while I traveled across Europe buying art and antiques. After many years of managing my own antiques and art gallery in Paris, I ventured to the United States in 1999 and spent about 14 years there. Since then, I have returned to Paris and I balance my time cross-continent as a professional guide and a listed artist. WSET diploma.(Sommelier)

Excellent tour through Pere-Lachaise cemetery! It would have been difficult to accomplish by ourselves knowing where to go), much less learning as much about the history of the people who were interred there. We spent the morning at Pere Lachaise Cemetery and the afternoon in the Montmartre district with Patrice. He is very knowledgeable about both areas and was interesting and fun to be with.
