Excellent tour through Pere-Lachaise cemetery! It would have been difficult to accomplish by ourselves knowing where to go), much less learning as much about the history of the people who were interred there. We also appreciate Patrice's understanding when our Uber dropped us off at the cemetery later than we expected (thanks to a rainy day & extra traffic). He even helped us find a cafe to have a jambon beurre sandwich after our tour (we had been having trouble finding a place ourselves).

This was my second tour with Patrice, and he is a charming, knowledgeable, and entertaining host. He knows a lot about the history of the cemetery and its occupants and provided a lot of backstory about them. We toured Pere-LaChaise on our first trip to Paris in 2023 but wanted to return to it this year on a second trip to see some graves we had missed last year. He was able to track down Sarah Bernhardt's grave after some searching, as her grave had a lot around it now and was somewhat obscured. I highly recommend Patrice as a guide to anyone who wants to tour this. It's really a large cemetery, and the hike is uphill part of the way, so it's good to have someone who knows where to take you.
