Hi, I am Raf, and welcome to Brussels! A native Belgian, I moved to Brussels in 2008. In a nutshell: I am a freelance guide in the city & multiple museums, a freelance musician, and a lover of history and languages. Originally from the Flemish countryside, I have gotten pretty engaged with this city, through my work as a guide in museums and out on the streets, as a musician (cathedral singer), as a coworker, teacher,... Brussels has a rich history, beautiful architecture, lively church communities, great musicians, myriads of languages, colourful minorities, major political institutions... To me, it has been the source of countless opportunities and experiences, discoveries, and yes, challenges too - as in life, so in Brussels.
