Antwerp from Brussels. What a great experience

During this tour we will discover the history of Antwerp in its streets and buildings, but we will also visit the Cathedral, where we admire the masterpieces of Rubens, specially, The Descent from the Cross, maybe, his greatest work. Also we will visit the Plantin-Moretus, the only museum protected by the Unesco Heritage List. It's about a family of publishers working in the same place since the 16th century. And old mansion from the 17 century that conservates the shinning history of the books inside.

- We begin the tour in Brussels. We leave to Antwerp by train and we arrive to the Central Station, one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. - We visit the diamond neighborhood and we learn about the diamond industry and history. - We admire magnificent palaces and colossal buildings like The Palace of Meir (Napoleon's accommodation in the city) - Also the house and workshop of Rubens - In the old town we visit the cathedral (which houses some of the masterpieces of Rubens). - Time for lunch - We cross scenic squares like the Grote Markt (with the city hall), the Vrijdagmarkt and the Conscienceplein (with one of the most beautiful baroque churches in Belgium). - We travel on time walking along the small alleys of the Vaeykensgang. - We visit the Castle of the city: het Steen. And the Old Meat Hall. - We visit the museum of Plantin-Moretus - I bring you back to your hotel in Brussels
