Apart from its famous chocolates and beers, Brussels is known as a centre of European culture, officially nicknamed 'the European Village', with almost 90 museums, beautiful parks, fascinating walks, trendy restaurants and bars. There is a lot to learn about the history of the city, the architecture, the Belgian obsession with comic strips, and the art of chocolate, fries, mussels, waffles and beer. I invite you to share a particular cultural itinerary; that of plunging you into the discovery of the "unavoidable" of the beating heart of our capital. The grand place, a unesco world heritage site, described as "the richest theater in the world" by the French artist "Jean Cocteau", the galeriesroyales saint-hubert and their technical prowess of the era you will be immersed in a true brussels kaleidoscope. Chocolates tasting included in the tour !

We loved Danielle! She has an amazing gift of bringing the past history of Brussels into the present. Wonderful historian. Danielle gave us fabulous recommendations for various food and retail establishments. Shd helped us to get the “lay of the land” so we could continue exploring after the tour was complete.
Wonderful tour. Danielle was funny and warm. She read the vibe of the group very well and tailored the tour to our interests as we went along. We had a lot of fun! Chocolates were delicious too
Our tour with Danielle was a wonderful start to our trip! My wife and I arrived in Brussels a day before her parents and Danielle showed us all of the highlights. She met us in our hotel and we walked from the upper part of the city past churches, parks, historical statues and amazing buildings - Danielle knew the history of each and contributed so much to our understanding of the history of Brussels, its key figures in politics, art and religion - and she made the whole day fun and interesting. If you want a professional tour guide with a wonderful sense of humor and who will honestly tell you her opinions on any subject - Danielle is the right choice. We had scheduled 4 total tours with Danielle for our week in Belgium and we were delighted. She was a wealth of information on dining, beer, chocolate and evening activities. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
I look for 3 things after a tour to indicate whether it was a success: 1. Did I see the highlights of the location and also things away from the usual tourist spots? 2. Did I learn about the history and the culture of the place? 3. Did I feel like the guide was now a friend I would call if I ever returned to the city? Danielle’s tour checked all three boxes. We saw the highlights of Brussels but also places away from the crowds. She is wealth of knowledge about the history of the city, the country, and the people, and most importantly we had a great time with her and left as friends.
Danielle was absolutely amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We laughed and learned so much. It felt like we spent a few hours with an old friend instead of a stranger. Cannot recommend her enough.
A typical Brussels city walk incorporates the main sights of the historical heart of Brussels! *The Grand Place, world famous Market Square, with its incomparable City Hall and precious Guild Houses. *The Galeries St Hubert, *Cathedral of St Michel, *Ilôt Sacré, *The Manneken-Pis, *The neo-classical Bourse and St Gery area.
