Hi! I am Andrea! I was born in Barcelona but I have been living in different countries for the past years ( The United States, Brazil and the Netherlands). I live in Belgium for the last four years and I hold a degree on Law and International Relations. Andrea was a true gem. Extremely friendly , wealth of information and great in time management. My family thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Brussels. She picked us from the train station and had arranged a Van as well as we were limited for time. Andrea also gave us tips to buy chocolates, where to find good waffles and fries. Prefect way to end the trip. Definitely recommend everyone to get Andrea as your guide.
Andrea’s tour was exactly what we wanted after of tasting tour with another guide yesterday. The early part included a drive out of city center to see residential areas and parks along with the European neighborhood. Back in the old town we saw all the main sites without duplicating the sites from yesterday. Andrea was flexible, fun and informative. Excellent tour! We communicated quite a bit before arriving in Brussels and that made the meeting up much more pleasant.
Andrea was very helpful in meeting us at the MIDI station as we were taking her tour in a stop-over on our way to Bruges. We had trouble with storing our luggage and she got it all fixed so we could get on with her tour. The tour was very interesting and the stops for chocolate were memorable. Andrea provided a wonderful tour of Brussels. We saw all the highlights and Andrea provided great insight on each destination. She also gave us great tips on shopping and dining locations for later in the evening. We highly recommend Andrea.
Andrea gave a very good tour and was great to work with especially when two members of our group had flight issues and arrived later than expected. Andrea was able to accommodate them and also, because the two members had just arrived after a lengthy flight, she accommodated their tiredness and made most of the tour in a vehicle. I would recommend this tour.
Andrea was an informed professional guide. She not only provided a description and historicsl context of certain areas of interest but included details of particular interest. Oman, the driver, was a capable, competent driver, who provided poignant commentary in dialogue with the guide regarding points of interest.
The tours is divided in visiting two different parts of the city. The European Neighborhood and the Atomium driving and walking through the old town. We will drive during 2 hours and stop to see the different attractions; The Atomium, the Royal Palace, The Cinquantenaire Park, it's impressive Arch of Independence, and the European Neighborhood. Once we have seen that we will leave the Van and walk through the main sights of the old town of Brussels. Starting at the majestic Grand Place, we will go all over the alleys and small streets to discover the most beautiful corners of a city full of History. We will visit: *The famous Manneken Pis, *The Sablon neighborhood, *The Courthouse, *The Royale Palace, *The Couldemberg hill, *The Instruments Museum, and *The Mont des Arts.
