This is one of my favourite tours because we'll admire amazing art works in a relaxed way. I studied art history at the University of Florence, so this is the place where I reviewed my notes for long time! Skip the main line and enter with a priority entrance with your private tour guide. The tour is 4 hours long and it will be a journey into the art where we'll visit together Uffizi and Accademia Gallery. Uffizi: From the 13th to 17th century we'll see masterpieces painted by Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Caravaggio. . . and much more! We'll go deeper into the artists's lives with untold stories and anecdotes. In the Accademia Gallery we'll stop in front of the David, the most famous statue realized by Michelangelo and then I'll explain you about the "not finished technique" looking at 'the Prisoners' by Michelangelo too. Come join me for this unique experience full of beauty and art!
Our family was a group of 8 including a 12, 14, 17 year olds. Giulia was our guide for the Uffizi and Academia Tour. She was wonderful. We could all understand her, and she was very knowledgeable. She catered to our needs for the tour. We were all very pleased with the tour and her. Would definitely recommend booking with her!
Giulia is a fantastic tour guide. We did 2 tours with her. First a half day walking tour of Florence. Second was a half day tour of the Uffizi Gallery and the Academia. Both was time well spent. She is knowledgeable about the history of the city and the art on the museums. Giulia presented a lot of information in a very entertaining way and really made.the trip for us.
Giulia is a wonderful guide! She has an extensive background in art history and a clear passion for sharing her knowledge. She’s very personable and explains the art as simply or complex as you’d like. Her knowledge of Italy, the its rich history, and the culture made the tour educational outside of just the art. Giulia was Terrific! Florence was experiencing extreme heat and humidity and of course significant summer crowds at the Galleria Uffizi and Galleria del Accademia. She got us into see all the best artwork and sculptures, while providing us with insightful history of the period, artists, leaders, key historical events that shaped the artists work. As well as the materials they had to work with and conditions under which they worked! She gave us time for needed breaks, while moving us through the exhibits. Thank You Giulia for a Fantastic Tour!
