I am a graduate from a Pedagogic Academy of Cracow with a Master's Degree in History. The link between history and everyday life has always fascinated me. I spent four years in The United States. This is where I have mastered my command of English. Upon my return to Cracow I decided to use it in speaking to foreigners about this city's history. I have always enjoyed many different cultures, and therefore, I would like others to enjoy mine as well. For the past 20 years I have been working as a licensed, English speaking guide and tour escort. I still remember all my guests from different countries, but first of all the friendly and recognizable Rick Steves (guidebook author). I hope you will enjoy my tours! I am a licensed Krakow City Guide Nr/Card No: PM/39/01 by Marshal of Voivodeship as well as an English speaking tour leader Nr/Card No: PW/203/2000 by Marshal of Voivodeship I have a certificate for driving service.

I will show you the best examples of failures and successes in "the royal city". Kraków - the city which dates back to the 7th and was the official capital of Poland till the XVII century, has experienced a lot. I will show you places which experienced this history and tell you about people that have created it. I will tell you how they dealt with failures and successes. As a master of history fascinated by the link between past and today's everyday life and as a guide with over 20-year experience, I believe the time spent with me will be very special and unforgettable. I can't wait to see you and guide you here! I still remember all my guests from different countries, but first of all friendly and recognizable Rick Steves (guidebook author). I hope you will enjoy my tours!
Below are my suggestions for exploring in Krakow: -walking tour along the Royal Route (the biggest tourist draw in the city) -quick stop at the remnants of Cracow fortifications (the Barbican, St Florian Gate) -on the Main Market Square we will see outside the Cloth Hall, the tower of Town Hall -we will visit inside St Mary church with world famous gothic altar by Wit Stwosz) - we will pass by Collegium Maius - the oldest building of Jagiellonian University (15th century) with the outstanding inner courtyard We see only from outside -St Peter and Paul church - the first Baroque church in Cracow -St Andrew church dating back to the 11th century only -we will spend some time on Wawel Hill - the former seat of Polish rulers; the Royal Cathedral-burial and coronation place we should visit inside the Royal Castle-inner courtyard (the visit to the interior with the collection of 16th century Flemish tapestries-on special request and with earlier reservation!)
