Aloha! E komo mai e Hawai'i Nei! I'm so happy to welcome you to our Hawai'i. My name is Noelani, which means "Heavenly Mist" in Hawaiian language. I am excited to share my island with you which includes my culture, our foods, my heritage and my Aloha spirit. Being born and raised here on the island of Oahu, I have a special love of our people, our culture and our islands. I have been a tour guide for around two years but have been with our tourism industry for several years. My favorite personal tours include sharing our beautiful Ko'olau mountains, our spectacular views, crystal blue waters and beaches and our incredible history. People have been coming to Hawai'i for hundreds of years, contributing their culture, their special foods, history and their religion. When you visit Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona, you are getting a complete picture and a profound appreciation of the significance of the Pearl Harbor events from the beginning to the end of the World War II. The USS Arizona Memorial is built over the remains of the sunken battleship of the same name, which serves as the final resting place for several of over a thousand marines and sailors that died in the 1941 attack, and is visited by over 2 million people yearly. Another part of our tour takes you further into the island, covering its astonishing southeast coast with several opportunities to marvel at panoramic viewpoints and the natural beauty of Hawaii. As we drive, we will pass by through the beautiful Waimanalo beaches, a word that actually means potable water! We'll also reach a lively seaside town with a few boutiques and eateries, that a First Family of the United States visits regularly!
Lisa was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about Honolulu, discussing its history and culture. She also made our trip planning easier by providing everything we needed for the Pearl Harbor portion of the trip. I would recommend Lisa as a guide. Lynn
The tour was fun and entertaining. Lisa was AMAZING! The weather threw her a minor curve ball, then we compounded the challenge by asking for a major change in itinerary (when she picked us up). She was absolutely accommodating, and really helped us define what we hoped to get out of the day. She was easy to work with, full of great information, and a pleasure to ride with. Lisa looked out for us. We could not ask for a more enjoyable day.

·I'll first pick up from your hotel, cruise ship or the airport. ·Then, we will drive to Pearl Harbor while we listen to pre-recorded lecture by an historian that covers the Japanese attacks in detail. ·Having reached Pearl Harbor, we'll explore the visitor's center and its 2 exhibits, including a 23-minute documentary with live footage of the events. ·Next we will take the Navy shuttle to the USS Arizona Memorial. ·After visiting the memorial, we'll venture into the island's Southeast Coast. ·We'll stop at Diamond Head Lookout for some astonishing sights. ·We'll also stop at Lanai Point. ·We'll reach Haloha Blowhole and Halona Beach Cove too. ·Once last panoramic viewpoint would be Makapu'u Lookout. ·We'll pass by Waimanalo beaches as well. ·We'll also visit Kailua Town. ·Before returning, I'll show you a secret spot of the island. -At last, you'll be driven back to your accommodation.
