Pearl Harbor National Memorial and The State Capitol Historic District
Overview of your Honolulu tour
This tour brings up to 4 travelers to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor National Memorial and the State Capitol Historic District with a local guide well versed in the history, architecture, and culture of Hawai'i. The National Park Service program for the USS Arizona Memorial begins at Pearl Harbor Memorial Theater. The tour includes a detailed orientation, a 23-minute documentary film, and a Navy-operated shuttle boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. In addition, travelers will have an opportunity to visit the USS Bowfin Submarine & Museum. After Pearl Harbor and a lunch break, travelers will be given a brief tour of the State Capitol Historic District, which includes views of the Iolani Place, Kamehameha Statue, State Capitol Building, and much more. The tour will also include a stop at the National Memorial Cemetery of the the Pacific (Punchbowl Crater).

PEARL HARBOR HISTORIC SITES: *National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl Crater): Battle Monument, Map Gallery, and Courts of the Missing. *USS Arizona Memorial Program (Self-Guided): Includes boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial. Note: The program at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial is run by the National Park Service and guides are not permitted to escort you to the USS Arizona Memorial. The national park is easy to navigate, and your guide will provide you with a detailed orientation and tickets for the boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial outside the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. *USS Bowfin Submarine & Museum (Optional): Paid admission includes a self-guided audio tour. LUNCH BREAK: Guide will suggest several options. STATE CAPITOL HISTORIC DISTRICT: Kamehameha Statue, Iolani Palace, State Capitol Building, and Pali Nu'uanu Lookout (time permitting).
