ALOHA! With me, you will find an enthusiastic guide that loves showing you the amazing beauty of Hawaii. I am happily married with 2 kids, I love to surf, hike, read and honestly enjoy time with clients visiting Oahu and getting to re-experience the island with you. Before making the move to Oahu with my family in 2014, I lived in Japan for 35+ years and worked on the US military installations as a fireman for 16yrs. I hope you will come to rely on me as a cousin here in Hawaii that wants you to experience the awesome environment and food that Oahu has to offer. Feel free to change things up a bit as well, I can be as flexible as you need. I want to help you make the most of the time that you have with me. After moving to Oahu, I have had the opportunity to provide guided tours to thousands of clients as a Segway Instructor, Hiking Tour Guide, and lately a Private and Group Tour Guide. Through these experiences I have been able to gain even more to share and look even more forward to doing so. I feel so fortunate to be able to provide tours with ToursByLocals and help travelers appreciate the island in a more in depth perspective. I am still in awe of the beauty of this island and look forward to help you have even more fun while you are with me. PUC LICENSE 1115-C For parties up to 6 I have a 8 Passenger SUV, I am a licensed tour operator and can legally carry passengers in my vehicle on the Island of Oahu. Licensed for Pearl Harbor Approved by DLNR to conduct guided HIKES on designated trails. There are areas on the island where commercial activity is restricted.

Overview of your Honolulu tour

Get away to the North Shore and see Oahu's COUNTRY SIDE! See the Hawaii that you may have expected, but don't find in Waikiki. During the summer you will experience some serene awesome quiet beaches. The winter time is when the beaches are firing and you will find those amazing waves breaking along this 7 mile coast. On our way to the North Shore we will stop by a Coffee Farm where you can get a quick taste of the Island Grown Brew and purchase select beans. While drinking that Coffee we will drive and enjoy the stunning scenery and beaches along the way. *Optional Take a walk in one of Hawaiis most beautiful botanical garden at Waimea Valley. ($20 per person separate fee) After working up an appetite we will go to Haleiwa to enjoy some free time shopping. Then get our pick for Lunch from so many recommendations to choose from. The Dole Plantation will be waiting on our way back where you can enjoy their famous Pineapple soft serve and pickup some goodies to take back home. or more interested in RUM?

Jody designed tours of North Shore, East Coast, and Pearl Harbor with last looks at Honolulu prior to boarding our ship. His knowledge of Hawaiian culture and history was amazing - we certainly learned a lot. Not knowing too much about the island, we left the itinerary up to Jody for our group of not-too-active people. We were taken to out of the way places, enjoyed a spontaneous picnic lunch with local delicacies. Saw turtles and had a chances to swim and relax. Jody is super courteous, prompt, and very easy to get along with. Absolutely would recommend!!

Your Honolulu tour itinerary

*Pickup at your place of stay. *Green World Get your caffeine fix at a coffee farm on the way and enjoy the coffee raised here on Oahu. *Head towards some remote beaches *Stop by the Historic Town of Haleiwa Spend some free time shopping *Choose what to have for LUNCH. Your choices: GARLIC SHRIMP, BURGERS, POKE (marinated fresh seafood), Huli Huli Chicken We can arrange to pickup each and have a picnic on the beach. Or you can choose to eat at any establishment as well. *Head back after lunch. *On the way back we can/will stop by DOLE plantation for a quick restroom break and to check out the facilities. or Rum?! A great Distillery is close by we can use as an option as well (tasting tours on offer/ separate fee). This tour can be customized
