Your Perfect North Shore Day | Waimea Falls, Turtles & Local Food

Daniel gave us an amazing tour of the North Shore, complete with waterfalls and cliff jumping. He was friendly and funny - captivating a group of 20+ somethings and their grandparents!

Our day with Daniel was one of the absolute highlights of our Hawaii vacation. From the moment he picked us up at Turtle Bay, we felt like we were spending the day with a knowledgeable friend rather than a tour guide. Daniel’s deep knowledge of Hawaiian culture, history, and local traditions made every stop fascinating. He has a relaxed, fun energy that immediately put our family at ease, and he connected especially well with our teenagers, sharing meaningful stories and life lessons that kept all of us engaged throughout the day. We visited some of the most beautiful spots on Oahu, including Waimea Bay for cliff jumping, swimming alongside fish and sea turtles, and watching a fun group of youth jump a sand ramp with their boogie boards. Delicious poke lunch bowls with options for those who want something else. We loved the stunning, paved walk/hike to Waimea Falls. Daniel knew exactly when and where to go to make the most of each experience while avoiding crowds whenever possible. The local food stops were incredible, and his recommendations helped us discover some of the best flavors of the island. One unforgettable moment was when he serenaded us with his ukulele and even hung a hammock for us to relax in one of the most beautiful locations imaginable. Those personal touches made the day truly special. What impressed us most was Daniel’s intuition and genuine care for people. He effortlessly accommodated different fitness levels, personalities, and interests, making everyone feel included and comfortable. He even helped our son connect with a group for beach volleyball later in our trip, creating memories that extended beyond the tour itself. He also documented the day so we could be present and just enjoy the journey. By the end of the day, Daniel felt like part of our family. We had an amazing day with Daniel as we toured Oahu. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and made us feel like family from the start. We were able to spot dolphins, whales in the distance, and a green turtle frolicking in the waves. The spot he took us for lunch had the most amazing garlic shrimp I ever had! And the Dole whip was delicious. You cannot go wrong booking an excursion with Daniel!

Daniel was a great guide!! There were 6 of us on the north beach full day tour and he tweaked it enough to fit our wishes. Had a lot of sunshine and a lot of laughs. Would recommend him to anyone.

Daniel modified the tour to are interests. Very knowledgeable about the beautiful places on the North Shore to see and explore. The food trucks had great food and the shaved ice was very good. I highly recommend Daniel and this tour.
